Family and friends cycle 70 miles Mums family friend came up with an idea to boost the fund raiser.  We did an interview with the mother and here is what she said  ‘This is a fun way to do a fund raiser because you’re with all your family friends and it is such a good laugh!’  I filmed them all cycling along the trails one by one and then I filmed them coming down the slope at the end. Woman dead in flat for 3 years there was a woman found in her flat and had been lying there for 3 years. i will interview the parents and children of this woman.

In 1973 Blumer and Katz came developed 'The uses and gratification theory' arguing audiences consume media text for one or more of the four reasons. Information  Entertainment socialisation (replacing human relationships)  surveillance  News = Facts / information  BUT  because the 'news' you see on the tv, online in newspapers is also a 'product' that has to sell a target audience, it can also be entertaining and this may distract the facts. What is fake news? Fake news can be based on a true idea, or half truths but ultimately it is fake/untrue and has been released to influence opinion or annoy people.
